Many guys are aroused at the thought of nibbling on a hot girl’s feet — but are fish? Apparently, fish also enjoy a little foot action, and this phenomenon is being leveraged by creative salon owners. A new high-end spa treatment has now emerged — the Fish Pedicure. This pedi entails the woman plunking her feet into a tank full of small carp — who are more than eager to give her feet full attention licking and nibbling from heel to toe. This treatment started in Turkey then quickly spread throughout Asia — and now it has made it to America. Spas and salons around the country began offering this fishy fetish pedi, and they were met with varying reactions ranging from curiosity to cease and desist orders from State Health Departments.

Despite the skepticism, women who have received this treatment claim that it works miracles. They assert that the fish turned their rough and callus-marked skin into smooth feet worthy of a Manolo ad. The head of the International Pedicure Association (yes it really exists), Dennis Arnold, contends that he doesn’t see this trend really catching on, and he further asserts that most women would be afraid to try it. In his opinion, carp give crappy pedicures. However, there are probably some ulterior motives behind his doubts. His constituency certainly does not want to lose their jobs to a bunch of fish.
