Spring Break in Daytona and South Beach has been known to bring out the animal in guys, but when it comes to boinking real animals you’re just fine according to current Florida law.  The State of Florida has never formally made bestiality illegal, and those with a penchant for fucking a horse in Ocala or getting a blowjob from an alligator in the Everglades are legally free to do so.  This is surprising seeing that the state protects its wholesome status quite assiduously — mostly due to the domicile of Disney World.  The City of Miami Beach has also gone on a crusade to banish strip clubs from South Beach — a silly act considering the amount of drunken naked girls seen on the beach and streets of the entire area.

Squeamishness seems to explain Florida’s hesitancy to outlaw bestiality.  Current animal cruelty laws can potentially be used to pursue those inclined to diddle farm animals, but the prosecutor under these statutes must prove that the animal did not enjoy the act.  Everyone knows how often girls lie claiming to have an orgasm in hopes of not hurting the fragile male ego — consequently, defendants can claim the cow enjoyed it despite the unhappy moo.  When asked what is stopping the state from passing an applicable law, Florida lawmaker Mary Brandenburg attributed the legislature’s reluctance to draw up specific laws due to the subject matter “being yucky”.
